The comprehensive renewal of the Lexus product range will reach another milestone at the Tokyo Motor Show next week with the unveiling of a new flagship saloon concept.

First details of the new concept vehicle will be announced at the show on 19 October, sustaining the momentum of Lexus’s development as a global prestige manufacturer.

The flagship concept will be exhibited alongside the GS 450h, a hybrid power version of the newly-launched GS premium saloon range that is set for production in 2006. Combining a 3.5-litre V6 petrol engine with a powerful electric motor, it delivers performance comparable to a conventional 4.5-litre power unit, while returning fuel economy comparable to a standard 2.0-litre saloon. The combined power output of the GS 450h hybrid system will be around 340bhp.

Also on view will be the radical Lexus LF-A concept, a two-seater supercar powered by a high-output V10 engine. The LF-A concept is 4,400mm long, 1,860mm wide and 1,220mm high.

Hi!
I’m currently driving a 97 ls400 w/ 211,000km’s on the odometer. And i’ve recently done my big tune up which included the waterpump, spark plugs and timing belt and all fluids have been flushed and replenished. BUt recently i’ve been having htis problem with whenever it RAINS.. i would have a problem starting the car 2. the engine light/trac light would come on.. but after say like 1/2 hour or so.. it goes away. And sometimes my radio would cut in and out…the other problem thats been happening is when it stops raining and the car sits for abit.. i would try starting the car and it doesnt start. I know its not the battery because the lights dont dim.. and everything else is okie in the car. i dont hear no clicliclick sound.. i jjust dont hear anything. BUT after say like 5 mins of constant cranking.. i would catch a spark and the car starts again.. THIS ONLY HAPPENS WHEN ITS RAINING OR WHEN ITS COLD/snowing. I’ve recently had my alternator changed already… battery is less then 3 years old.. so i dont konw what it is.. and the last time i changed my caps/rotors was probaly around the 145km range.. so please do give me some advice and help if you can!!!!

Thanks!
