2006 Gumball 3000 - They Are Off and Running!

Photos will come soon, but the event has kicked off from London onto their first checkpoint in France… here’s a few quick items of interest to note from the start of the race.

Team Polizei Arrived first at the Chunnel after starting 5th on the Grid

Black Mercedes SLR gets nailed for 132mph right before the Chunnel

Team Polizei gains advantage by being the only team with VIP passes for the Chunnel, putting them at least 15 miles ahead of the competition

Update:

Team Polizei is still in first place, 34 miles from the Chateau Beloeil Checkpoint, with ETA to checkpoint at 9:06pm Local Time
