I was watching the Barret Jackson Auction on Speed Channel, and two cars they had really caught my attention, the 2009 dodge challenger, and the 2009 corvette zr1. They only had the two concept cars there because the actual production models haven't been built yet, but what the bidders were bidding on were the very first of each production car that rolls off the lot, where it will be shipped to the dealer of their choice, and from there they can pick it up. Anyway, the challenger sold for $400,000. Sounds pretty good right? Well, the corvette zr1 sold for $1 MILLION! The auctioneers were practicly begging the bidders to bid more on the challenger, whereas they just pretty much threw their money out at the vette. Thought I might change the subject now.
