Congratulations to KW Team member Mark Berry upon securing his title as SCCA Southwest Division B-Street Prepared Solo Champion.

Berry was able to prevail on consecutive days during his dominating weekend at the event. Saturday saw Berry elapse the field by 0.8 of a second over the nearest competitor. Sunday produced a 0.3 second margin of victory to claim his title of SCCA Southwest Division B-Street Prepared Solo Champion.

Some event highlights included his quicker time then the ASP class winning Corvette on both days. Utilizing the PAX index would place Berry 8th out of 117 competitors on Saturday and 18th out of 112 competitors on Sunday. Berry mentions how precision driving is the result of his victorious weekend and what he required to do it with “You may sometimes even have to be running over the flat bottom of the cone as in this case.  KW Suspension gives the precise feel of the car to let you drive at this level”.

Berry looks to continue his rein as Champion as he prepares for the Texas Region SCCA Event #5 on July 23, at Mineral Wells, Texas. Good luck and godspeed Mark Berry!
