I personally want to buy a S5 but I realize it for the car it is with its own inherent limitations (many of which were pointed out here.) To say it has things like the best-in-class navigation system is laughable at best (unless 'class' is limited to German cars because the Japanese rule here and even Sweden has shown better navigation systems on cars.) I like the author's appreciation of cars in general but I don't think most S5 suitors are likely to take to the Thunderbird analogy very well.
