I am Mark's Brother-in-law, and yes, he is doing MUCH better. After leaving the road at aprox. 120mph, and going into the trees, he was safely removed from the car, and choppered to a trauma center. Fast forward to today, and he is on his way home to Chicago, having been released from the hospital yesterday. He has no major injures, and knows who everyone is, and wants to know how his car is... they are going to see it today. Looks to have no long term issues...actual reason for the crash is still unknown...(however, mechanical was pretty much ruled out.) Doctors are not sure if he was conscious when he crashed. Thank GOD he is ok, thanks to all the people that made it happen.

thanks for asking!

Good news, everybody: Mark Siggelkow (the driver) is, according to his wife, talking and able to walk at this time... so his head injuries are not as severe as they could have been. He was wearing the HANS Device during the impact. Something to think about.
