After leaving the road at aprox. 120mph, and going into the trees, he was safely removed from the car, and choppered to a trauma center. Fast forward to today, and he is on his way home to Chicago, having been released from the hospital yesterday. He has no major injures, and knows who everyone is, and wants to know how his car is... they are going to see it today. Looks to have no long term issues...actual reason for the crash is still unknown...(however, mechanical was pretty much ruled out.) Doctors are not sure if he was conscious when he crashed. He was wearing the HANS Device during the impact. Something to think about.
