Speed:Sport:Life Radio: I Have No Voice And I Must Scream Edition
Kasey Kagawa | October 3, 2008Apologies, both for the lateness of the podcast and the sound of my voice, my throat has been raw over the last few days and I hope I don’t sound like I’ve been gargling with boiling water and Streptococcus samples. If you can understand me, you’ll get to hear the pre-show spoilers for debuts at the Paris Motor Show from VW, Fiat, Audi and Bentley, a cool new limo from Mercedes Benz, Congress greenlights the not-a-bailout for the Big Three, more big rule changes coming to international endurance racing thanks to the ACO, and a watch with a price that pushes the boundaries of sanity in this week’s Useless Automotive Tchotchke. Share and Enjoy™.

i guess the VDA are just gonna have to deal
Ryan/Ry_Trapp0 | October 7, 2008i guess the VDA are just gonna have to deal with it, aren’t they? never mind the fact that the japanese government funded the developement for the prius. never mind the fact that the japanese government does everything in its power to protect and push their own automakers. never mind the ‘volkswagen law’ that germany had in effect(and was recently struck down by the ‘european court of justice’) to protect VW from being taken over by anyone(see: porsche). sorry jealous VDA man, its our turn now. for once in recent history(the chrysler bailout doesnt count), our government is actually helping its own automakers instead of burdoning them. well, they are still being burdoned by useless hippie emissions and regulations laws, but you get my point.
cant wait to see more good stuff from the auto show! the ‘GTbyCITROEN’ is crazy lookin!
