The funny thing is Jonny jokes about the superior French steel but it really is some sort of alien concoction. We've had to cut tons of metal out of the wheel wells and pound away at the fenders to stop the tires from rubbing and that darn French metal is impossible to cut and snaps back into place when you hit it with a hammer. I remember holding a piece of the removed fender liner in my hand and it felt like some sort of weird alloy of plastic an metal. Strong and flexible but wanting to forever hold it's shape. Very similar to the similarly odd alloys used in the Model T and probably as durable. Make all the jokes you want about the French but they've managed to make a metal car as flexible as a Saturn.

Curses! You have seen through our ruse...

I'm as stunned as anyone at how well Pujo! fared after his ride in the tumbling trailer. Here is a picture of him still in situ. Notice the fuel jug IV drip we set up? Also note the paint smears on the trailer wall (ceiling in this shot). Peugeot makes a damn stout car.

Ah, I wish I could make it out and see you guys run in person. One hell of a story and glad the car survived to race another day.

For flipping over inside a trailer and being a LeMons car... it looks like it is in TOO good of shape.

I say you create a new penalty for surprisingly fast french cars... MAKE them eat Cake...
