How about a true and honest comparo between the MKV and the MKVI? Give a good solid answer to whether the MKVI is worth upgrading from the MKV or not.

How's the torque steer?
I have loved Golfs past, but it just seems like 170+ hp is too much for FWD. Is that true here? Can it still be fun?
I'd like some info on what's better/ worse/ indifferent as compared to the MKV as far as driving dynamics and if the new Electronic diff. actually helps. I never really missed an LSD in my 07, but I'm sure it would have helped.
Perhaps the GTI can find its way to an APR shop for a test tune…
I'm curious to know how it handles with the 17" wheel/tire combo. Every GTI I've seen reviewed has had the 18" setup, and I'm not thrilled at the idea of paying $700 for a set of wheels I don't care for.
I'm also curious to hear your thoughts on XDS. It has gotten mixed reviews–some writers saying it is very effective while others saying it overtaxes the brakes and leads to premature fading.
