Team SAS Racing in their #10 Camaro won the ChumpCar Saturday race at Infineon Raceway. The team was comprised of a group of very capable drivers on the race track and handily won the race by 6 laps. And they did all of that in a vintage GM product.

Team SAS Racing not only drove with style, they had a sense of humor as well, hence the bumper sticker, “Danger Men Drinking.” For their win the team picked up a cool $1,000 dollars, and glory, of course.
Second Place, and picking up a cool $350 bucks, was the number 38 Nissan Sentra, (yes, that’s us) Speed Sport Life / Krider Racing team. Third place, and $250, went to Fast Times at Placer High in a Miata (on the same lap, and less than half a minute back from second place -pretty close racing after seven hours).
The race was run perfectly and there were only 6 black flags during the entire event (as opposed to 500 something black flags at the 24 Hours of LeMons).
Photos were compliments of Lex Van Den Berghe.
