On the left coast, Eyesore Racing picked up the overall win at the ChumpCar race at the Streets of Willow Springs driving a $500 Mazda Miata.

And in Florida, Action Express Racing picked up the 24 Hours at Daytona overall win in their $500,000 Porsche.

Grand Touring class at Daytona was won by the #70 SpeedSource Mazda.

To complete the weekend’s Two Days, Two Men, Two Coasts, Two Races coverage, at Daytona, Patrick Dempsey, star of the ABC hit drama Grey’s Anatomy, finished 6th in the GT class, besting Speed Sport Life’s Rob Krider on the West Coast who was only able to finish 8th after a blown head gasket at ChumpCar. We’re going to have to put a check mark in the Dempsey catagory on this one since he gets the ladies for free while Krider had to get a hooker (a tow hook, that is).
