The Press of Atlantic City reported Tuesday that New Jersey Motorsports Park (NJMP) has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.
NJMP, which opened in 2008, has hosted several local and national HPDE schools, hot lapping orgs, and auto/motorcycle race series. Last report is that the 2011 schedule will proceed as planned, but that may change given recent developments.
