Wolfsburg, 12 September 2005 – IAA world premiere: 18 months after the concept C study made its debut at the Geneva Automobile Salon, Volkswagen now presents the series version of its new convertible coupé in the form of the Eos. This is the world’s first four-seater car with a five-section CSC roof; the folding hard top combines the characteristics of a coupé, sliding and convertible roof, thereby unifying three different car concepts to form a whole. The world’s fastest four-door coupe comes from BRABUS and celebrates its world premiere at the Frankfurt Motor Show IAA 2005 in Frankfurt ain. This automobile, built in small-series production based on the Mercedes CLS model series, is powered by a 730-hp / 537-kW 6.3-liter twelve-cylinder twin-turbo engine, that was implanted with almost surgical precision into the engine bay of the four-door. The performance speaks for itself: 0 – 100 km/h in 4.0 seconds, 0 – 200 km/h in 10.5 seconds, 0 – 300 km/h in 29.5 seconds are just as unique as is the electronically limited top speed of 350 km/h. Frankfurt–Jeep designers have gone to the extreme once again, creating two all-new sport-utility-vehicle (SUV) concepts that could expand the Jeep brand into new territory.

The Jeep Patriot and Jeep Compass concepts are compact Jeep 4x4s that would deliver fun, freedom, utility, capability, as well as the potential for exceptional fuel economy and interior flexibility–all at a great value. Making their debut at the 2005 International Motor Show (IAA) in Frankfurt, these concepts hint at two future compact SUVs that the Jeep brand could build for global markets as soon as next year.

Frankfurt, 12th September 2005… Today, at the IAA Motor Show, Bentley Motors reveals the production version of the new Azure. The luxurious four-seater Azure, which goes on sale in Spring 2006, is the latest in a portfolio of wonderfully desirable ‘dropheads’ stretching back many decades and reaffirms Bentley’s reputation as creator of the world’s most elegant convertibles.
Bentley first hinted that a new Azure might be in the pipeline when it unveiled the glamorous Arnage Drophead Coupé show car at the Los Angeles Auto Show in January 2005. The show car stimulated such interest among Bentley aficionados that the decision was quickly taken to continue its extensive development programme in time for delivery of the first customer cars in Spring 2006. Last month, Bentley announced that the production version of the show car would carry the evocative Azure name.
