Nissan has announced that they will be making the world debut of the Juke Nismo Concept at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show later this week. Though the press release from Nissan is mostly filled with fluff about driver experience and stuff that doesn’t matter. What does matter is that the Juke Nismo concept features a fairly attractive body kit which Nissan says effectively reduces the amount of lift on the Juke without increasing drag to help improve traction. Nismo suspension bits have been added to stiffen the Juke and give it a more aggressive stance in Wider Nismo 19″ wheels finish off the look while also giving the Juke a larger contact patch. Nissan also mentions that the engine has been upgraded using Nismo specific parts but doesn’t go into any great depth about what parts are used or what the resulting power output is.
The Juke Nismo Concept looks pretty much ready to go for showrooms so we’d expect it to go on sale in the near future in some form or fashion. You can also bet on a full line of Nismo aftermarket parts being made available to fit onto existing Juke models. We have to say that the Juke has certainly grown on us over the last few months and that this Nismo Juke Concept looks pretty damn cool. We hope to see them on the roads before too long.
